Our Commitment

Ability360 Solutions Inc. uses artificial intelligence responsibly to support the development and delivery of accessible, practical, and high-quality learning resources.

AI may help our team develop initial ideas, organize information, improve writing, support translation, enhance accessibility, and create draft learning materials. However, it does not replace professional expertise, human judgment, quality assurance, or accountability.

Ability360 remains responsible for all final content, services, recommendations, and decisions.

How We Use AI

We may use artificial intelligence to support:

  • Course and curriculum development
  • Instructional design and learning activities
  • Initial research and content organization
  • Writing, editing, and plain-language revisions
  • Translation and language adaptation
  • Accessibility improvements
  • Learner and facilitator resources
  • Draft images, scripts, presentations, and multimedia
  • Administrative processes and workflow improvement

AI-generated information is treated as draft material and reviewed before it is approved or published.

Human Review and Accountability

People remain responsible for all final decisions and outputs.

AI-assisted content is reviewed, revised, and approved by appropriate members of the Ability360 team. Depending on the subject matter, this may include vocational rehabilitation professionals, instructional designers, clinicians, accessibility specialists, or other qualified subject-matter experts.

We do not treat AI as the sole source of professional advice, factual information, or decision-making.

What We Do Not Use AI to Do

Ability360 Solutions Inc. does not use AI to make, recommend, rank, profile, or materially inform decisions concerning:

  • Program or service eligibility
  • Hiring, employment, accommodation, or performance
  • Diagnosis of a disability, health condition, or support need
  • Access to services, benefits, rights, or opportunities
  • Clinical, legal, educational, or vocational decisions
  • Individual evaluations without meaningful human oversight

AI is used as a support tool, not as a substitute for qualified professionals or individualized services.

Accuracy and Quality

Artificial intelligence can produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or missing important context.

Before publication, AI-assisted materials may be reviewed for:

  • Accuracy and relevance
  • Credible and authoritative sources
  • Accessibility and plain language
  • Bias, stereotypes, and exclusionary language
  • Copyright and licensing concerns
  • Translation quality
  • Functionality of activities, assessments, links, and resources

The level of review depends on the audience, subject matter, purpose, and potential impact of the content.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Ability360 Solutions Inc. takes privacy and confidentiality seriously.

We do not knowingly enter identifiable personal information, confidential client records, protected health information, passwords, financial information, or sensitive organizational information into publicly available AI tools.

Our team is expected to use approved tools, remove identifying details, protect confidential information, and follow applicable privacy, security, and records-management requirements.

Accessibility, Fairness, and Inclusion

AI systems can reproduce or amplify bias. We review AI-assisted content with consideration for:

  • Disability inclusion and accessibility
  • Human rights
  • Cultural responsiveness
  • Gender and identity
  • Race and ethnicity
  • Neurodiversity
  • Language and literacy
  • Digital accessibility
  • Barriers experienced by underserved communities

Our goal is to ensure that our resources represent people respectfully and do not reinforce stereotypes, discrimination, or unnecessary barriers.

Transparency

We provide an appropriate level of disclosure when AI plays a meaningful role in a public-facing resource, service, or experience.

Minor assistance, such as brainstorming, editing, or formatting, may not require individual labelling. Clearer notice may be provided for AI-generated media, automated responses, personalized outputs, or interactive AI-powered tools.

Users will be informed when they are directly interacting with an AI-powered system. Where reasonably available, they may also request human assistance or a non-AI alternative.

Intellectual Property

Ability360 Solutions Inc. takes reasonable steps to respect copyright, licensing requirements, trademarks, and other intellectual-property rights.

AI-assisted materials are reviewed before publication to identify possible concerns involving protected content, third-party resources, branding, ownership, and permitted use.

Continuous Improvement

Artificial intelligence, regulations, standards, and accepted practices continue to evolve.

Ability360 reviews its AI practices as needed to reflect changes in technology, privacy and accessibility requirements, emerging risks, stakeholder feedback, and lessons identified through quality assurance.
