AODA: Employee Rights

This course provides an overview of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and explains how accessibility and accommodation apply in everyday workplaces. Participants will learn about the purpose of the AODA, the rights of employees with disabilities, and the responsibilities of employers to identify, remove, and prevent barriers.

The course also explores how the AODA connects with broader human rights protections and employment standards in Ontario. By the end of the course, learners will have a clearer understanding of accessibility, accommodation, and inclusion, and how these principles support fair and equitable participation at work.
